I love tutoring because I enjoy making a difference in a student’s learning life. I enjoy interacting with students of different ages, cultures and learning levels. I like to help students become better every day, and I want to be part of a student’s success in life. I like to encourage students to ask questions and really understand subjects. I find non-traditional methods, like hands-on learning, to be particularly effective. General methods I use include calling attention to a void in a student's knowledge, presenting challenges, helping students discover patterns etc
